Since the beginning, Safety Harbor Kids struck a formula, a method for success in reaching these children to make a positive impact in a relatively short time.
Through our one on one personal tutoring programs SHK creates an environment of trust, friendship and hope for the kids. We show them that we care about helping them achieve their personal goals and then we actually help them accomplish those goals while mentoring them in honesty, happiness and self respect.
Through academics, career development, music, art and personal growth, the children soon gain self confidence and self worth they have never had before. They use that newfound confidence to channel their energy in a positive, constructive manner keeping them out of trouble.
